Extensive experience in floor trading, retail trading, institutional trading, was chairman of a plastics company for twelve years, and for 13 years was the Senior Vice President of Illinois Corporate Investments, one of Chicago's pre-eminent merger and acquisition firms, during that time period was involved in consulting and divestitures of several manufacturing, distribution, internet and telecommunications companies such as the build out of the first teleport in Russia in 1989 in the City of Khaborosk, the privatization of the Peruvian telephone co., Guatelco, Antel, Etelix, Telinfor, Telebras, Globalstar Do Brazil, SATT, Convergence.
